Nov. 20th, 2007 08:56 pmI decided to take down the emo-ness because I've had some good conversations with some good people, and I've been led to believe that maybe everything will be okay after all.

I've really been getting into film recently. This is another one from my Olympus XA. The camera is really a wonder. It's absolutely tiny and can fit in any of my purses with no problem whatsoever. It also happens to have semi-manual (aperture priority) exposure and manual focusing, which is kind of awesome. It's also kind of not awesome when I forget to focus it, but that's my own fault. Speaking of cameras, I finally ordered a replacement for my digital point and shoot that I stupidly left on the VIA rail train. It's a Fuji (F31fd) and it promises to be the most awesome low light point and shoot EVER. Hopefully it will live up to its amazing reputation.
On another note, the biggest problem in my immediate existence is coming up with an essay topic for my 17th century English history class. Somebody help me. I am so shit at coming up with essay topics, you have no idea. I REALLY work better on assignment. When someone tells me what to do, I do it, and I do it well. When I have to be academically creative, forget about it. :( I came up with a couple of cool ideas (involving the relationship between contemporary political situations and pop. culture... plays, paintings, pamphlets, books, &c.), but they'd be more suited to be a PhD thesis than an essay I have to churn out in three weeks' time. Seriously, I just want something EASY (yet impressive) to write about. Help.
