Feb. 7th, 2008 01:13 pmSo, as many of you probably know, I decided to say "Screw you, Grad School!" and instead applied to a bunch of Graphic Design programs at various colleges across the city on a whim.
I've received correspondence from all of them, and they're kind of ridiculous.
NOT ONLY do two of them require that I check an email address that they just set up for me me to obtain further admission and testing info (they're not nice enough to send it to my damn gmail), but two of them WANT ME TO TAKE AN ENGLISH TEST.
Okay, college admission foos. Did you not see the part where I'm not only a high school graduate with English courses aplenty, but I'm also going to be a University graduate with an Honours BA this June? Did you not read my transcript that states that I took University level English courses? I'm not a mature student, applying with an incomplete high school diploma (in which case I'd deem an English test appropriate).
So, in conclusion, double you tee eff. I'm not doing it. :P One of them wants me to pay $45 for the privilege, too.
