May. 22nd, 2007 11:19 pmI suck at updating this thing regularly, though I am addicted to reading my Friends Page at least once a day.
So, life is pretty great. This summer has been one of the best ever so far, and it's only going to get better! I can't wait to go to Quebec in July, and enjoy the time I have here while I'm in Toronto. I suspect that my cheery attitude will change once I start working more days per week, but let's try to stay optimistic.
On Sunday I went to see Keane live in concert. They were pretty fantastic and full of energy. Tom, the lead singer, kept thanking the audience because apparently we were the most enthusiastic crowd evah evah. I suspect that he says the same thing in several cities, but maybe not. Maybe we ARE special. Toronto IS the centre of the universe and all. I was really close to the stage, meaning that I got to yet again go at it paparrazi-style.

Today at my brother's birthday party I tried smoking hookah, which was surprisingly pleasant. Maybe it's because the tobacco was mint flavoured... mmm, mint. I probably won't do it again for a very long time, but it was fun while it lasted. Yesterday I watched Victoria Day fireworks by the side of a highway. Really random. I didn't get any sexy fireworks pictures because I stupidly left my tripod in the car at Finch Station... ughhh! Oh well. Right now, my head and back are aching, which means I either have a headache and did something to my back, or I'm getting sick. It'd better not be the latter or I'm going to cry. I have THINGS to look forward to this week, dammit.
