Yes, homeslices, this is IT - my very first piece of Nikkor glass. :D I'm so pleased with it that I'm leaving this entry public and everything.



It's such a beautiful lens. It arrived a few days ago and I've since had a chance to play with it for a few minutes between essay research and the shiva. SOO NICE. This version of the lens is the first autofocus one that Nikon made, which means that it is almost twenty years old.

P.S. Tonight's new Dr Who episode was odd but I liked it. David Tennant was so good and oh so adorable.
