Today in English class we looked at a poem by e.e. cummings. I now officially want to puke on his shoes more than ever =D

omg that e.e. cummings. He and William Carlos Williams should throw a party of nonsense together.

But so much depends upon a red wheelbarrow. SO MUCH.

AND THE CHICKENS!!!11 But what about the plums that he ate? I SUPPOSE SO MUCH DEPENDS ON THOSE TOO.

Dara, this poem just too far above your mental capacity for to grasp its deeper meaning. Perhaps when you are the enlighted age of 21, you will be able to grapple with its meaning.

:D

Are you implying that obscene quantities of alcohol would assist in understanding this poem?

I'll go get the vodka. :D

It looks more like a computer language of some sort. :p I've read some of his other stuff though...not all of it is that nuts, luckily.

E. E. Cummings, I <3 you. That poem deeply moves me. I love it when stodgy old English teachers have to be like, "This is the work of a literary, err, genius."
